“How to show someone that you love them: love them”

Oh, okay. Didn’t your teachers ever tell you not to put the word you’re defining in your definition?

you know what the difference is between you and me? I’m okay with being crazy. I’m okay with ruining first impressions. I am okay with looking awkward and saying stupid things. Because what people think of me is not going to effect how I live, I wont let it. Whether I say something offensive or completely uncalled for, I said it for the moment. Yes, I am part of the unpopular opinion and I would not have it any other way. I like saying what is on my mind. I like asking unusual questions. I like smiling at rude people. I like not fitting into the crowd. I am completely open about almost everything, so what? Was half of my life supposed to be made secret? Who is to say what is personal and what is okay to say? I just feel like rambling right now, sorry. Not really.

I’m genuinely amazed at the quality and effort that went into the 400+ submissions to the remix challenge over on hitRECord — where members of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s creative community warped two images from his upcoming BlackBook photo shoot in whatever way they fancied. And they only had three days to do it! (The above from Lawrie Brewster is one of many, many personal favorites.) We’ll run a few selections alongside that story in our October issue, but I could put out a whole issue of these.
